Greg Chismark, P.E.
Manager of Public Sector Engineering
Greg Chismark has over 20 years of engineering experience in both the public and private sectors. His responsibilities include management and design of public sector projects and public sector client relations. Prior to joining Christopher B. Burke Engineering West, he worked as a structural engineer and as a civil site design engineer for private consulting firms. Most recently he served as the City Engineer for the City of St. Charles for a period of 15 years. In that tenure he served on the technical advisory committee in development of the Kane County Stormwater Ordinance, was responsible for scheduling, budgeting and implementing capital improvement programs for utilities, roadways and drainage systems and for full project management related to new subdivisions, site development and public works improvements, including financial aspects such as creating Special Service Areas and recapture agreements. Greg earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Illinois. He is a licensed professional engineer in the State of Illinois.
