Nan R. Newlon,
P.E.
Senior Project Manager
Nan Newlon is responsible for managing and designing primarily park district,
forest preserve district and municipal development projects. Typical projects
include trails, sports fields, stormwater management, parking, bridges, and other
specialty features. These projects require coordination between the projects’ clients
and permitting agencies and involve various funding sources. Her experience encompasses
municipal engineering, transportation, park and bikeway design, grant application,
and permitting. Prior to joining CBBEWL in 2001, she served as Director of Planning
and Development for the Naperville Park District, Assistant Director of Public
Works for the City of Naperville, and Village Engineer for the Village of Woodridge.
Nan earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering
from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a Master of Public Administration
from Northern Illinois University. |
